Wedding Poem ; The Vows I Take Will Be Forever

The vows I take will be forever:
I'll love you all my life.
There's no part way, no holding back
Once we are man and wife.

The choice is made, and now I swim
In a far different sea,
The shores of which are bright green hills
Raised up for you and me.

Our love is like a mountainside
Awash in lovely flowers:
It is our home, our solid rock,
Where all bright things are ours.

And though of need we often must
Spend our days apart,
Our love will always be with us,
Held within the heart.

I feel it now, so strong and free,
So part of every breath
That it must live--I swear it will!--
Even after death.

Wedding Poem ; To My Truest love Now And Forever

My dearest love, mere words could never
truly express how much I love thee.
From the first moment I lay eyes
upon thine handsome face,
I knew I had found my angel, and soul mate.
The words I spoke on our wedding day,
words of love, honor, were spoken from my heart.
We've been through good times, and bad.
We've held each others hands in
both Sickness, and health.
Though our life seems sad at this moment,
I know that God will heal thee.
Take comfort in the thought
that I will be by thine side always,
and will forever keep thee in my heart.

Wedding Poem ; Love Is Far More Various than Race

Love is far more various than race.
It goes much deeper than a person's skin.
It reaches to the heart, which is the same
In all the human race. It is the name
Of a hundred thousand feelings held within,
Yearning to be consumed in an embrace.

How does one particular embrace
Become more intimate than one's own name?
How of all the humans in this race
Do we find the one whose spirit is the same?
Of course we love to touch our lover's skin,
But what love touches is the soul within.

In marriage we must build one home within
Two hearts, one world in an embrace.
What matters is the will and not the race,
The choice to love what lies beneath the skin.
In every love the choice is just the same;
Without it, love is nothing but a name.

How do we make love more than just a name?
How do we not tire of the skin
We touch every day? In the race
To succeed, how do we keep the embrace
From smothering the passion still within?
How do we make our days not all the same?

Love is the decision to embrace
One body, one soul, one universe, one name.
To give up all we are and have within
And share the world beneath another's skin.
Once we do, the world is not the same:
The love two share enriches the whole race.

This is how love intersects with race:
Humanity is held in your embrace.
Your love will never leave the world the same:
When it looks for peace, it calls your name.
Do not fear the politics of skin:
Choose love each day, and joy will reign within.

Within your love is all you need embrace.
Love caresses skin and values race.
Two in name, you are in love the same.

Wedding Poem ; In Memory

We wish that [name] could be with us
This very special day,
'Cause he [or she] was like a rush of sun
Before he went away.

We light this candle so that we
Might bring him here awhile,
As we remember his bright flame,
His laughter and his smile.

We wish that he could share with us
The happiness we feel,
'Cause knowing that he knew our joy
Would make it all more real.

But even though he's not with us,
His presence is still strong,
'Cause in his heart we'll always find
The love for which we long.

Note: If you don't want to have a candle-lighting ceremony, simply leave out the second verse. Also feel free to change the poem to the plural

Wedding Poem ; WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME

Will you still love me
When I grow old and gray?
Will you still recall
The young girl
You carried away
As your bride
On a rainy day
In Fall?
Will you still hold me tight
Like on our wedding night?
Or, will you forget
The first day we met
In Summer
When roses were blooming
And birds were singing?
Will our cheerful laughter
Still be ringing in your ears?
Will you still remember
All the happy years
We spent together?
Please keep the glowing light
In your heart, for me forever.

Wedding Poem

This is your wedding day
and in your eyes
the light of love
is brighter than the stars.

Your heart is full of hope
with all the joyful promise
this all brings.

And the promise will come true,
if you remember this one thing,
Just love each other
as you are,
Don't try to change
this person you found
and learned to love.
Let your love be
the greatest gift
you both receive
and when you do
the love will last through all
as the light that lights
the evening sky.

wedding poems : Love Can Be like Lightning

Love can be like lightning: all of a sudden
Electric shock goes tingling to the toes.
In some, however, it can come quite slowly,
Spilling over sandbags as it grows.

However love first shows itself, a marriage
Alters all its labyrinthine ways:
Seismic shifts deep down restructure mountains;
Homes jiggle as some expectation sways.

All you have and are is now together.
Love shapes not just your feelings but your lives.
Each must choose each day to love the other,
Needing more than life what love decides.

wedding poems : I Am the Happiest I've Ever Been

I am the happiest I've ever been.
My loneliness will be forever gone.
When you're away, my empty feelings spin,
But after this, I'll always be at home.
You're the only person in the world
From whom I cannot stand to be apart.
But now in your devotion I'll be curled,
Just as you'll take shelter in my heart.
And so we two create a separate thing
In which we dwell mystically as one.
Neither you nor I will solo sing
Once this strange new harmony's begun.
How sweet to join with you in this new life,
Not only as myself, but as your wife.

wedding poems ; Hold My Hand and I'm Yours

Hold my hand and I'm yours,
And your heart will stay close to mine,
For I know the sun must rise with the dawn,
And at night the stars must shine.

And the wind must wander the ocean
And sing with the waves of the sea;
Just so, I know, I'll be by your side,
And you will be wedded to me.

And you will be wedded to me, my love,
And I will be wedded to you;
For I know the tide must turn with the moon,
And the spring must return ever new.

And the sky must weep that the hillsides
May laugh in the green of their joy;
And the leaves must turn red, brown, and gold
That the earth might their riches employ.

And love like a mad, swollen hunger,
And love like an unending song,
And love like the silent pull of the Earth
Shall be with us all our lives long, my love,
Shall be with us all our lives long.

My country love

If you passed her in your city
You would call her badly dressed,
But the faded homespun covers
Such a heart in such a breast!
True, her rosy face is freckled
By the sun's abundant flame,
But she's mine with all her failings,
And I love her just the same.

If her hands are red they grapple
To my hands with splendid strength,
For she's mine, all mine's the beauty
Of her straight and lovely length!

True, her hose be think and homely
And her speech is homely, too;
But she's mine! her rarest charm is
She's for me, and not for you!

wedding poems ; Getting Married Means You'll Have

Getting married means you'll have
Someone's hand to hold,
Even when you're feeling sick,
Even when you're old.

It means when you sit down to eat,
Someone will be there,
So you won't have to tell your day
To an empty chair.

It means that you can have some kids
Just like a mom and dad,
And play with them all afternoon,
Except when they are bad.

It means that when you need some help,
Someone will help out,
Someone always near to you
So you won't have to shout.

But best of all is when it's time
To turn out all the lights:
You won't have to be alone
Those long and scary nights.

So even though you don't have toys,
You don't have to care:
Once you're married you can be
Each other's teddy bear!

wedding poems ; All My Happiness Goes Out to You

All my happiness goes out to you:
Pride and pleasure, joy, sweet tears, and love!
Reason, hope, and faith together move
In harmony to bless all that you do.
Let this beginning be the golden dawn
At which all dew-drenched nature sings its glory!
Nor should the darkness shrouding every story
Dim the blue-eyed beauty of this morn.
More of life will come than you can hold:
A flood no mortal witness can withstand.
Rest, then, within a quiet, gentle hand,
Knowing where love is as you grow old.

wedding poems ; Angels Just Love Weddings, Don't You Think

Angels just love weddings, don't you think?
No one sees them, but we know they're there,
Golden halos lassoing their hair,
Embodying a love beyond the brink.
Love draws them in like revelers to drink,
Alive in love, breathing love like air,
Amorous in ways we could not bear,
Needing us to be love's earthly link.
Do, then, with an angel's ecstasy,
Make your lives an amorous delight,
Intimate in ways both sure and sly,
Chaste but in the chamber of your love.
Heaven is not quite a fantasy;
Angels hover near, awaiting night.
Eden was a place where none was shy,
Loving as the naked lust might move.

wedding poems ; Dove Poem

Two doves meeting in the sky
Two loves hand in hand eye to eye
Two parts of a loving whole
Two hearts and a single soul

Two stars shining big and bright
Two fires bringing warmth and light
Two songs played in perfect tune
Two flowers growing into bloom

Two Doves gliding in the air
Two loves free without a care
Two parts of a loving whole
Two hearts and a single soul

wedding poems ; Welcome to Our Family

Welcome to our family,
Beloved of the child we love!
Come join us in what is to be
And share with us what time will prove.
Dear lover of the child we love,
Whom we now love as if our own,
Come share with us what time will prove
And make our house and hearts your home.

Whom we now love as if our own
Because on you our own has smiled,
Come make our house and hearts your home
And be to us another child.

Because on you our own has smiled,
Come join us in what is to be
And be to us another child.
Welcome to our family!

wedding poems : Husband and wife

Today we begin the rest of our life
Together forever as husband and wife.
Our dreams came true, with love and more—
Adventures to have and the world to explore.

We’ll share our joys, we’ll share our sorrows;
We can already see many bright tomorrows.
We’ll share our friends and family, too,
And you are part of that special crew.

Thank you for celebrating our wedding day.
As we share our vows, we just want to say:
These wedding memories will become a treasure,
And seeing you here is part of the pleasure.

A Wedding Is the Entrance to a marriage

A wedding is the entrance to a marriage:
One drives through, and suddenly one's there!
Stepping from a fairy tale carriage
Into quite ordinary air.
Life is now a dance, though beautiful,
Requiring intense coordination;
Each self becomes, in ways inscrutable,
More fully what it is in combination.
And we who love you wait, of course, outside
As you become through love that mystery:
One flesh made whole of separate groom and bride;
Two selves, one life; two notes, one harmony.
When you are one, we then may cherish two:
Loving not just one, but both of you.

Something Borrowed, Something Blue

By Paul Duxbury

It is a time-honoured tradition that is supposed to bring the bride good luck that she should carry or wear something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. Each one of these items represents something different and can fairly easily be incorporated into the bride's clothing in several different and interesting ways. The tradition goes back centuries and is still honoured by many brides today who are want to ensure a little extra bit of luck for themselves or who want to honour a tradition that has been passed on in their family for years.

Wearing something old is said to express the desire to retain your connections with your family after you enter into your marriage and begin your own family. One lovely way in which to do this is to wear a locket with a picture of your grandmother on her wedding day inside, which will remind you of your family and keeps them close to your heart. Another charming way to wear something old is to have a handkerchief used by one of your ancestors sewn into the lining of the skirt of your wedding dress. Incorporating this item into your wedding dress as a permanent feature is a special way to ensure that you will always remember your family and that they will always be a part of the new family that you and your husband create and which carries on the family into the future.

The tradition of wearing a new item on your wedding day reflects the fact that you and your husband are creating a new union that will endure forever. There are countless ways to incorporate something new into your attire. If you decided to have a picture of your grandmother on her wedding day in a locket that you wear, you might want to think about putting a photo of you and your husband to be into the other side as your new item. Another new item to consider is a piece of jewellery, besides your engagement or wedding ring that was given to you by the groom such as a necklace or bracelet. This is a special way to wear something new because it expresses the love that you and the groom have for each other.

Wearing a borrowed item on your wedding day is used to symbolise your love and admiration for the person from whom you borrowed the item. Wanting to wear something that belongs to a loved one lets them know that you want to include them in your wedding in a very special way by wearing something that either is held very dear to them or is something that represents them symbolically. One way to include a borrowed item into your wedding is to ask to borrow a friend's signature piece of jewellery. If you have a close friend who has worn the same necklace for as long as you have known her, you might consider borrowing this particular necklace for your wedding day as a reminder of your friendship assuming of course that they don't want to wear it to attend your wedding!

Wearing something blue on your wedding day is a symbol of fidelity to one another. It may sound as though incorporating blue into your wedding attire is a difficult task but it really is much easier than it might sound. One easy way to do so is to wear a necklace with a blue stone which is a beautiful yet inconspicuous way to wear blue on your wedding day. Alternatively you could chose to include blue flower in your headdress. Some brides also opt to wear a blue garter under their wedding dress as their blue item.

Brides have been honouring the tradition of wearing an old, a new, a borrowed and a blue item during their wedding for many centuries. Although wearing these items is supposed to symbolize luck for the bride, they are also just a lovely tradition that gives the bride an opportunity to express her admiration for special people in her life.

Choose a Tiffany Blue Wedding Theme

By ling Tong

The Tiffany blue wedding theme has been growing in popularity since about 2000 and has been used by many celebrities during their weddings. For example, Toni Braxton was one of the first people to really use the Tiffany blue idea in her wedding. The Tiffany blue name for a wedding theme is used along with robin egg blue or a light pale blue colour theme. When people first think about a Tiffany blue wedding they think of the famous jewellery store that gives a feeling of elegance and extravagance.

If you want to have everything at your wedding to follow this theme then you yourself, as the bride, can have the colours of tiffany in your flowers or you can have tiffany colours pinned to your attire. If you do not want to add anything to your dress then you can use the tiffany colours as accent colours in your jewellery and shoes. This goes the same for the groom; a blue boutonniere can be added to go with the tiffany theme.

When decorating for your reception you can choose tiffany blue china patterns and serving ware. This theme can even be extended in your food as it can be tinted with tiffany blue food colouring and you can even ask the caterers to serve foods that go with the blue theme such as blue cheese. For wedding and party gifts you can give your guests a copy of the famous novel reakfast at Tiffany?or you may choose to give a box of candies with the box of course being blue.

To make the tiffany wedding theme go even further you can order the Tiffany stationary on which you will print your invitations and have them hand delivered. This can also be used for your thank you cards as well. Using light blue printer paper for addition notes and maps can finish the invitation. When going with this theme for a wedding it is possible to go over board and it is important that you keep your use of blues under control. For example when choosing your flowers it is nice to get some of them in the tiffany colour scheme but you should combine this with other colours that keep the blue from being overpowering. Choosing an outdoor location for your wedding is also a good idea to keep the use of blue under control. The natural colours in the environment will complement the blues that you are using.

When choosing your cake you must think of the theme that you are using. For example you will want to choose a square layer cake that will resemble gift boxes. Then to finish off the theme of the wedding the cake layers will be wrapped in the signature colour. You can surround your wedding cake with beautiful blue flowers as well.

Blue is the central color of a Tiffany wedding, and it would be an elegant touch to have the bridesmaids dressed in blue. You can limit the favors and include some blue colors in your decorations, but if you overdo it, the colour will overshadow the wedding and you don’t want this to happen.

Ideas For A Romantic Honeymoon

By Low Jeremy

Though a honeymoon is a chance for a newly married couple to spend some time together, celebrating their new life together, there is more to a honeymoon than simply picking a great destination; you need to find things to do. Even the most beautiful place can seem boring if you just sit around the entire time. Because a honeymoon is a romantic trip, what you need to do is find some romantic activities to spice up your time and to create some wonderful memories of this time in your life. To help you along, here are some ideas for a romantic honeymoon:

A Private Dinner

While your honeymoon destination is likely to have any number of great restaurants in the area, you can easily arrange a romantic, candlelit dinner in your own hotel room, allowing you to dine in privacy. A quiet dinner in your hotel room allows you to share some time with your spouse without anyone bothering you, and also gives you an evening where you don't have to worry about making arrangements for travel to a restaurant.

Practice Some Massage

Another great idea for a romantic honeymoon is to pick up a book on massage at your local bookstore before your trip, and to pack it with your travel guides and other materials when you go on your honeymoon. The touch that comes from a massage can be quite sensual and can be a way to share some closeness with your spouse. The relaxation and the nice feelings that a good massage can provide can help add to your romantic honeymoon.

Bring Some Candles

Another way to add to a romantic honeymoon is through the use of soft lighting, and little beats out candles for this. With just a few small votive candles, you can bring the light in your hotel room down to a nice, romantic level, perfect for enhancing the area around a Jacuzzi or around your bed. Either way, it sets the mood for quiet conversation or cuddling, providing a backdrop for a romantic evening.

Prepare Some Music

Whether you're using songs from your wedding reception, the first tune you and your spouse danced to, or just a mix CD of your favorite love songs, bringing along the right music can enhance the time you spend with your spouse. Just as a romantic meal, dim lights, or massage can set the tone for an evening, a night of quiet, romantic music or dancing in your hotel room can lead to a more romantic honeymoon. So when planning your honeymoon, keep these ideas in mind when you're getting ready to go, and you'll be able to add an extra spark of romance to make your honeymoon unforgettable

Now that wasn't hard at all, was it? And you've earned a wealth of knowledge, just from taking some time to study an expert's word on honeymoon.

An Exotic Romantic Honeymoon Spot In Goa

By Peter Stewart

Romantic honeymoon packages to Goa have become popular recently, but many are disappointed by the beach resort they choose. Why not look at a place like Majorda, but don't look at a Majorda beach resort, instead look at the Vivenda dos Palhacos, and you won't be disappointed.

The Vivenda dos Palhacos is hidden away down a coconut fringed cul de sac in the village of Majorda where life is very peaceful and tranquil, not at all like the hustle and bustle of some of the beaches of Goa. It is a gem of a boutique hotel, set in a restored century old Portugese mansion, and is just a kilometre from the beach, but a world away.

The hotel, and that isn't really the best words to describe the Vivenda dos Palhacos, staying with friends in their private home would be much better, consists of two buildings are six double bedrooms.

If you can, then book the Konnagar Suite which is huge and has a verandah where you can sit for hours watching village life pass you by.

If you happen to have brought your children, although for an exotic and romantic honeymoon in this laid back part of the world, possibly children would find it less than to their taste. Anyway if there are children the small twin bedded Ballygunge would suit well, or the Chummery a self contained cottage for the whole family.

Some of the highlights of Vivenda dos Palhacos are the fixtures and fittings which are all in keeping with the history of the place.

You will love the food, and the surroundings. You eat either round a big table either set in the dining room or the garden, and the fact that it is real family style, with great hosts means great conversations, and friendships made. It would be fair to say that if your idea of a romantic exotic honeymoon is being on your own, then perhaps this wouldn't be for you. Mind you there are at least three very good restaurants in the main street of the village only a few minutes away.

Breakfasts are outstanding because it is served when you want it, early or late, nothing seems to be too much trouble, and that is the way it is all the time. You can eat alfresco lunches by the twelve metre pool, have picnics for the beach, and of course all the beach shacks where you can eat good food for very little

The beach is about a fifteen minute walk, and that is also part of the charm of Vivenda dos Palhacos, because you get the chance to see village life. After the sterile atmosphere of a large hotel it is so much more exotic, and adds to the romantic honeymoon getaway feel to be surrounded by the sights and sounds of Goa. Every day you hear the dogs bark, the cocks crow, bells ringing, neighbours talking in unfamiliar tongues, and trains passing in the night. It isn't just the sounds and the sights it is also the smell of wood burning, incense, food cooking, that confirms Goa is exotic and wonderful when you get away from the twenty first century, and the tourist hordes.

There is a great choice of activities from the flea market at Anjuna, to fishing, boat expeditions, bicycling, riding elephants to name but a few.

Vivenda dos Palhacos is a great boutique hotel, ideal for an exotic romantic honeymoon, providing you like people, and don't mind the sights and sounds and smells of life in Majorda Goa.

Finding the Perfect Romantic Honeymoon Package

By Andrew Bicknell

Your honeymoon is that special time where you celebrate your newly formed relationship with memories of romance and love that will last a life time. But where do you start looking to find that perfect romantic honeymoon package.

Probably the best place to find that once in a lifetime honeymoon spot is right on your computer. There is nothing and no place that you cannot find information about on the internet. Another thing to consider is what do you and your future spouse consider romantic in your own relationship. Finding a destination and resort that caters to your own ideas of romance can add to the honeymoon experience.

There is also the idea that someplace you have never been has always sounded romantic to you and your future spouse. You are both intrigued by the idea of visiting this place so why not during your honeymoon. Experiencing new and exciting things together can be very romantic.

A romantic honeymoon is one of the most wonderful times in every couple life. It is the ultimate romantic vacation and just about any chosen destination can translate into a romantic escape for the newlyweds. When planning your once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon it is important to choose a vacation destination and activities that you will enjoy. Your honeymoon is the perfect time to try something you've always dreamed about.

With so many honeymoon packages to choose from, it can be difficult to decide which one will provide the most romantic and relaxing environment for you and your loved one. If you are having trouble deciding where to go then consider a honeymoon on a tropical island or romantic cruise. Sandy beaches, beautiful sunsets, warm breezes and crystal blue waters are hard to beat. Many island resorts cater to honeymooners, providing romantic packages that include everything for one price.

Finding the perfect romantic honeymoon package will take a little research, but once you find the perfect destination you are ready the begin your new life together sharing love, romance and the beauty of your surroundings for memories that will last a life time.

Romantic Honeymoon Destinations for a Lifetime of Memories

by Andrew Bicknell

There isn't a person in this world who does not wish to have a romantic honeymoon. This only makes sense since a honeymoon is considered to be the ultimate romantic vacation when newlyweds get to spend there first real time alone together. The problem becomes which destination is the most romantic for the task at hand? The answer will depend on the couple and which location appeals most to them. Many will already know where they want to go, but for those who are still undecided here are some ideas to make your first real vacation together truly romantic.

The first though that crosses most people's minds is someplace tropical. Moonlit walks on the beach, days spent relaxing in the warm ocean breezes with drinks on hand, candlelight dinners with the gentle sounds of breaking waves in the background, and a whole world of romance at every turn. Tropical honeymoons are hard to beat.

The first tropical place most people consider is Hawaii. You can choose to island hop or just spend your time on one island, enjoying the warm blue ocean waters along miles of beach. The Hawaiian people go out of their way to make each and every honeymoon one to remember.

For a more exotic romantic honeymoon the islands of the South Pacific such as Fiji or Bora Bora take the romantic experience to a whole other level. It Is Not Difficult To Find Your Perfect Gown

By TM Lung

All brides will agree that choosing the right wedding gown is not an easy task. Obviously, the best way to choose the wedding dress is to try to put it on. It will be impossible to determine whether it fits you or not if you do not try it.

Although there is no doubt that you have to try to put the gown on, you still need to find some way to evaluate it. You can consider the following issues when you are selecting your gown.

The color of your skin

The very first thing you need to consider is the color of your skin. You need to see if the color of the gown match your skin color. If your skin is of light color, you will probably have more choices for the gown. Both white and some darker color gown can be good for you. On the contrary, if you have skin of darker color, it will be more difficult to tell until you really try the dress. You should make sure that you can have some make up before trying the gown. Otherwise it will be difficult to evaluate if the gown will look good on you on your big day.

Your body shape

No two brides will have the same body shape. Your body shape will affect how it looks when you put on the wedding gown. As a result, you have to review your own body shape. You need to thoroughly understand what are the strength and weakness about your body shape.

You need to choose a wedding dress which can accentuate the strength of your body shape. In order words the gown should make you look more beautiful. In most cases it should make you look slimmer. In order to keep a good body shape, you may try to do some exercises half hear before your big day. You may go to the fitness center with your fiance together so that you will have the motivation to do exercises. In fact this is also good for your fiance since he may also need to keep a good body shape in order to be the fittest groom on the wedding.

The budget

You will need to consider the budget for your wedding items. This is especially true if you are on a tight budget. You will also need to think about the budget for your wedding dress. It is certain that one of the best ways to get a perfect gown is to have a gown designer to design and make the wedding dress for you. However, it will certainly mean a higher budget.

On the other hand, you may also consider renting a gown. Renting a gown does not only save you money but also help to protect our environment. Renting a gown does not necessarily mean more limited choices. You can select from a large range of collections of wedding dresses. You should allow a period at least six months to order your gown no matter you are going to have it tailored-made or rented.

Planning Your Dream Wedding

ouve met the perfect man, and you have the perfect ring on your finger. How do you plan the perfect wedding? While wedding planning can be stressful and overwhelming at times, there is a way for you to make things perfect for you and your husband-to-be. All it requires is a little communication and patience while you make w hat seems like a never-ending list of choices and decisions. Breaking your wedding planning down into sections and considering the following questions should have you well on your way to planning your perfect wedding.

First, you will need to choose the kind of reception you would like to have. Are you planning a large wedding, or a more intimate gathering of friends and family? Talk with your relatives and soon to be in-laws to get an idea of what their needs are, as their concept of small may be quite different than yours. Once you have a general idea of how many guests you will have, you can then visit reception possibilities and talk with them about what they offer. Remember that the places you choose to visit have most likely hosted many weddings before yours, and they present suggestions that you havent thought about. It is perfectly okay to not have all the answers immediately, and many reception sites will gladly let you take their information so you can spend time considering what they have to offer. If you have questions, be sure to ask them, as this is a great way to see how flexible the site and staff will be to meet your individual needs. Of course, you will need to determine your wedding budget, as the reception will be where you spend the most money.

The next item on your list is to choose the food and the wedding cake. Its a great idea to sample the food at each reception site, preferably the same food you might choose for your wedding. The time of day that you choose to get married will also impact your food choice. If you choose a mid morning wedding, you might prefer to have a brunch buffet, while an evening wedding calls for more a more formal presentation. Whatever you choose, do not hesitate to ask for references from whoever will be providing the food at your reception. These references will take you beyond the food preparation and help you evaluate service and accuracy.

Flowers, invitations, music and photography are all personal choices you will make based on the style you desire for your wedding. These are also areas that you can trim your budget if you need to. Considering a simplified invitation and less formally arranged flowers can literally save you hundreds of dollars. The perfect wedding does not necessarily need to be the most expensive one! Use your creativity and you will find that your wedding is just as perfect as the man youve chosen to marry.

Now, I know your anxious to do it all alone, but, you can't do it all alone, you have to get friends and family involved. You have to create a detailed plan for your wedding layout.

Get yourself a binder or a little planner and you and your husband should sit down and plan exactly how much you plan and to spend and exactly what you wish to have in your wedding, it should be very detailed, not leaving out anything.

Next thing to do now, is get family and friends involved, you want to share ideas and make sure you didn't skip anything, the more people you get involved after creating your draft, the more ideas you can add or make changes to your original plan.

Please do remember to stick to your budget.

It is not your job, to go out there and do anything on the day before, during or after your wedding, a dream wedding means you have to organize every detail and assign someone to do everything.

Many people mess up their wedding due to late planning and by not delegating every task, no matter how small.

You should have one family member take control, or just outsource the whole process, but still assign someone to make sure the caterers delivers on time.

If your planning to have bride maids, make sure everything is planned and arranged months ahead, you don't want to wait for dresses to be fitted one a couple days before the wedding, the fitting should be done one week ahead, sometime even ten days is better.

You will have to consider the following:

1) Wedding Ceremony Where will it be held, how much will it cost, who will take care of what, yes assign someone to take care of this part. Your task is to make sure everything is organized.

2) Guests List Something so simple, but yet so overlooked, will you be using a guest book, assign someone to make sure everyone signs the book, and that there is a pen available. You second list is the one you create together with both sides of the family, that is the list of who you will be inviting. Plan this together, you don't want Granny getting mad, because you forget to invite some long time friend of the family.

3) Wedding Reception You have to consider if your having a band, a singer or maybe a DJ. How many people are you catering for, you want everything to be just right. Do this one correct, it is the one most overlooked.

4) Organize The Venue Yes, make sure you know who will be adding the flowers and decorations. Make it a point that it will be done a day ahead of the ceremony, that way you can make any changes if needed.

5) Date Of The Wedding You won't believe how many people fail to plan a date that will fit within the planned schedule for getting organizing their wedding. Plan way ahead, and get invitations and stationary order in advance, that should be the first thing you organize.

6) Your Dream Wedding Cake Make sure to do this part yourself, go out and find your dream wedding cake maker and go over every detail that you wish this cake to have. Please state the time and date that you would like this cake to be delivered. The cake should be the last thing going to the venue.

7) Please do enjoy your wedding day Try to keep out of each others way, should you not agree with something, please have considerations for each other, your planning the dream wedding of your life. No need, to get mad on your wedding day.

And if you feel this is just too much for you to organize, the get yourself a wedding planner.

I wish you both, a long lasting life together, may you enjoy a dream wedding fit for a king and a queen.

Final Planning Tips for Your Wedding Day

Penny Olson

Recently, I went to my home town to help my Mother and my Sister with the final planning for my Sisters wedding. Every member of my family is a "Do-It-Yourselfer", so we had an unbelievable amount of flower arrangements, pew decorations, garlands, candles, silver, you name it, we had to set it up. We were working with a total of four hours to decorate the church, a huge reception hall, a large lobby and two gazebos.

When I arrived at home I felt a little bit overwhelmed with the amount of time that was allotted and the sheer volume of decorating that we had to execute within the tiny window. But we were able to pull it off with time to relax and enjoy the beauty of all of the work that gone into it during the many, many months prior.

The first thing that had to happen was to figure out how many people were able to come and help us to decorate. It really helps, but it is not totally necessary to have a group of people that have an eye for design. Anyone that is willing is completely capable to come and lend a hand.

My mother and I set up all of the arrangements in my parents basement, just as they would be set up in each of their locations around the hall and Church. With a digital camera, we snapped a photo of each so that if necessary, we had a visual reference for all of our helpers and our intentions for the finished product. A digital camera and a computer with a color printer are the handiest tools to have at this point. But regular, 4x6 photos are just as helpful, it will just cost a bit more and take a little longer to get them printed.

While everything was arranged in the basement, we numbered each piece with a small piece of masking tape and a number so that the set up on the big day of hustle and bustle always started at one and went from the left to the right.

Then we packed everything for transport in banana boxes that we got from the local grocery store. You may be saying, Why banana boxes? They are very strong and also very light, so you can fill them with just about anything and not have to worry about the bottom dropping out. The top of each box was labeled with the exact location of its contents, ie: On top of the piano in the lobby. We then loaded all the boxes in a logical order, with similar decorations grouped together, into a rented box truck.

When we arrived on the morning of decorating, there was crew of 12 waiting for us, so we hopped out of the truck and handed out instruction sheets to each person stating how everything was labeled, what the general layout would be, what to expect once they opened the boxes, and who they could come to if they had any questions at all. From that point, everyone was off and running. It went like clockwork, and everyone let us know that they were very thankful that we were all on the same page. Due to the extra time that we put into organizing before we arrived, we finished early and were able to enjoy all of the work that we had done and got a few photos of the venue that was decorated beautifully, before any of the guests arrived.

The day of the wedding was very relaxing since we didnt have to go back for last minute touch ups. We could spend the time casually with our family and friends until it was time to get the show on the road that afternoon.

Secrets Of Planning The Perfect Weddings

by Nicola Driscall

Everybody dreams of having a perfect wedding, but like all planned events even the wedding ceremonies generally have one or more glitches, which need to be smoothed. Ultimately one has to remember that the day is for and of the bride and groom and the planned choices that they've made should be honored above the choices of others. Most important thing is to remain calm and cool and stay with your plans.

Before planning your wedding it's important to know exactly what you want before you start making those final decisions that many times can't be reversed. Talk about what you want with your finance. You'll more than likely have a budget that you need to stick to so you'll have to decide what's important to you that you won't give up versus what you're willing to part with.

Your first decision will be the wedding date. If the ceremony will take place in a church or some other heavily used building, confirm that the date is available. If it isn't you'll have to settle on another, so it's a good plan to have several possibilities when you are ready to book.

You'll need to plan your budget carefully. Use common sense when choosing some things for your wedding. Where possible think of ways where you can cut costs. For instance, if you want to hire a DJ to handle the music at your reception you might want to ask around to see if you know anyone who can do this for you at a low price.

When you start buying the things that you need for your wedding use a list that includes all costs and items that you need and make sure that you stick to it. Contact merchants in your area that offer the services that you need and see if you can negotiate a better price. After all, it never hurts to try.

Choosing the photographer for your wedding is one of the most important decisions that you'll make since your photos, like your memories, will last a life time. Take your time looking for the right photographer before making your final decision. Ask to see plenty of samples so that you can see the range of photos that the photographer can take. You want to be certain that the pictures that you want are possible.

You need to decide how many people that you're going to invite to your wedding. Be realistic when you're counting heads. If your budget doesn't allow you to have a huge guest list you'll have to start making cutbacks and limiting those family members and friends that will be getting an invite.

After you have your headcount, you'll need to find a caterer that you can afford and who will be able to prepare the foods that you plan to serve. Remember that there is more to choosing a caterer than cost alone.

So you have to decide on a number of things while planning for your wedding. And to be sure that you have taken care of all aspects get somebody - a friend or sister to help you with the planning. And it definitely pays to have some body help you decide on things like music for the reception, the decorations and the menu etc.

Above all you must enjoy the planning and the execution of one of the most special days of your life. Enjoy!

by Dori C

A neighborhood church will have everything that you need, or you can even have it on the beach or in the privacy of your own backyard. Each option comes with a tiny price tag, which will allow you to spend money on other aspects of your wedding.

Your wedding gown is going to be your top priority so do not get so down when you realize ho much of a budget you are actually buried under. There are plenty of discount bridal stores that offer a plethora of wedding dresses that are sure to cater to each and every bride-to-be's needs. You may have to do a little bit of extra digging for the right dress, but once you have found it, you will know you have the right dress at the right price.

Being crafty is going to save you huge amounts of money so get ready to raid the craft store. Save money by making your own wedding invitations as well as decorations and make sure that you decorate your wedding yourself. You will know what you want so do not worry about hiring someone to do it all for you.

Pictures will always be one of the most important roles within an inexpensive wedding so why not utilize some freelance services. You can find a freelance photographer online and they will be able to get what you need at a certain price. If this is a luxury that you simply cannot afford, a close friend will do just fine as well!

After you have most of the details taken care of for the wedding day, it is always important to set aside some time for your honeymoon. You do not have to travel locally at all if you know where to look for the right deals. The Internet is full of locations and destinations all at a low price because no one is traveling as much anymore.

Everyone is going to want to head to a place for the reception so that they can wind down and have a little bit of fun. Renting out a community center for the day will be incredibly cost efficient and big enough to hold everyone! Take a look around your neighborhood and see what you find!

Your Best Partner In Your Honeymoon Trip

by: pompy

It is so easy to recognize newly married couples. Even the ones that do not walk around like Siamese twins have a twinkle in their eyes and a glow on their faces that gives them away. Of course, once the honeymoon period is over, the issues of daily life have to be dealt with. Long hours at the office. Coming home to wash dirty utensils or cooking. Paying the monthly bills. Marriage is not like permanently being on cloud number nine! It has its ups, but it also has an equal number of downs.

So if you are a newly married couple looking forward to sharing wedded bliss together, you should take care to see to it that you learn to deal with the potential thorns in your relationship. And finances are one of those thorns.

If both of you are working, the question of who should be paying which bills will arise. Be prepared for long-winded arguments over the size of the phone and electric bills. It is amazing how many arguments begin and end over monetary issues. How do you minimize the occurrence of such arguments? Perhaps you should consider mechanisms such as that of the joint credit card.

How do you get hold of a joint credit card? It really is quite simple. You could directly apply for such a card. Alternatively, you would have to give your spouse's details to the credit card company asking them to add him/her to current credit card account.

Sounds a lot like the joint bank account doesn't it? However, despite the similar nomenclature, joint credit cards are not all that similar to joint bank accounts. Whereas in the case of the joint bank account, both signatories are held liable for the debts that are incurred, in the case of a joint credit card, the original signatory is held liable.

This is highly recommended for those who are in a completely stable marriage. However, if you are the type that marries fifty or more times, I would suggest that you steer clear from such an account. If you take the risk of annoying your spouse too much, you might just end up penniless, thanks to a revengeful shopping spree on his/her part.

As with everything, even a joint credit card has its set of cons. Moreover, it is a big step to take. Are you ready to make such a commitment? Sharing a credit card with someone else is a huge bug deal. Don't take such a giant step unless you are convinced that you are prepared..
